 | How is transportation managed, especially for international exhibitions?  | For domestic exhibitions, transportation of physical works is arranged locally. For international exhibitions, we often send digital files of the artworks (high-resolution images), so that work can be printed and framed in the host country—this helps reduce shipping costs, customs, and risk. If physical works must be shipped, we coordinate all logistics: export/import, customs, crating, shipping, insurance, and return.

| What is the minimum duration for a show?  | Typically 1-2 weeks, which provides enough time for setup, opening, visitor flow, and dismantling. Depending on gallery availability, local event calendar, or special themes, shorter or longer durations may be negotiated.

| Who handles costs like venue, promotion, insurance, etc.?  | Costs are handled on a case-by-case basis in mutual agreement. Common expense items include: venue fee, insurance (in transit and on display), shipping/crating, printing/framing (if using digital files), promotion/advertising, installation labor. Usually, the organizer agrees to cover venue, utilities, and local promotion; the artist handles or shares costs for preparation, shipping or file delivery, printing, and sometimes partial promotion.

| What are the fees or commissions galleries usually charge?  | Galleries often take a commission on any sales of artworks, typically ranging from 10% to 50% depending on location, gallery prestige, and negotiation. Also check whether there are additional fees: installation costs, storage fees, insurance fees while works are on display or in transit.

| What are typical insurance costs?  | Insurance cost depends on factors such as: total value of artworks, the fragility or type of work, transit frequency, duration of exhibition, and venue security. Some insurers charge premiums around 1%‐5% of the declared value per year, though for short exhibitions it’s pro-rated.

| Are there any venue rental or setup fees?  | Yes. Venues may have rental fees that depend on size, location, reputation, and duration. Setup fees include hanging works, lighting, display systems, mounting, frames. These are usually agreed in advance.

| Do I have to pay for printing or framing if using digital files?  | If using digital files, printing, framing, and display mounting are typically done by the host venue or local printer. Who bears the cost is negotiated: either the host covers full cost, or cost is shared, or the artist covers these.

| Is there a required budget or financial guarantee?  | Depending on the venue or location, sometimes a minimal financial commitment or guarantee is asked from the artist (or hosting party). This might cover printing, insurance, or venue deposit. It is always discussed in proposal stage.

| What about currency / payment and contracts?  | Payment terms (currency, whether local or USD/EUR etc.), contracts with details (duration, liability, reproduction rights, return of works) are formalized before the exhibition begins. A written agreement is essential.
